Doctor of Audiology

Meet Arielle J. Miller, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

A native of the greater Buffalo, New York area, Dr. Miller attended the University of Notre Dame where she earned her B.A. in Theology and completed additional undergraduate coursework with a focus in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then went on to earn both her M.S. in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Gallaudet University. She completed her clinical residency with the Audiology and Speech Pathology Department at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Miller is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid specialist in the District of Columbia as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia. She holds her Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Prior to joining Professional Hearing Aid Service, Dr. Miller worked at a private audiology practice in partnership with an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialty clinic and provided diagnostic audiology and rehabilitative services for people of all ages. She most enjoys getting to know her patients and assisting them in hearing and communicating better with their loved ones through the use of amplification.

Dr. Miller has been interested in healthcare, language and Deaf culture her whole life and is thankful that her education in audiology from Gallaudet University allowed her to become clinically and conversationally proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and combine these interests into a fulfilling career. When not at work, Dr. Miller enjoys attending live music and comedy events, dancing, watching movies, and traveling with her husband.
